Diploma Clinical Medicine and Public Health
The aim of the diploma programme in Clinical Medicine and Public Health is to develop students’ knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for providing quality health care at all levels in the health sector in the Republic of South Sudan. The design and the content of the programme provide opportunities for students to develop prerequisite competencies to provide clinical care, community service and leadership and management for strengthening the health care system.
Diploma Medical Laboratory Technology
The goal of diploma programme in Medical Laboratory Sciences is to train Medical Laboratory Technologists with scientific knowledge base, clinical and practical skills, ethical and professional attributes that are requisite for the provision of effective and quality medical laboratory services in South Sudan. It will provide learners with opportunities for developing scientific knowledge, skills and attitudes which facilitate acquisition of an in-depth understanding of disciplines related to medical laboratory practice.
Diploma in Midwifery
The goal of diploma programme in Midwifery is to train midwives to promote and assist sexual and reproductive health. Midwives will be trained to meet the many challenges of maternal mortality and morbidity as well as newborn deaths with high integrity and skills training. Midwife personnel are in high demand, with maternal and child mortality rates linked to the shortage of competent midwives.
Diploma in Nursing
Available July 2017
